Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, this beloved Athens eatery features the area's best Mexican cuisine, made with fresh, local ingredients. 2. Casa Hacienda Grill (Columbus)

3. Oler’s Bar and Grill (Findlay)

This "hole in the wall" Mexican restaurant is a family owned and operated diamond in the rough. The Tex-Mex here is out of this world, as are their margaritas. Oler's Bar & Grill is located at 708 Lima Ave., Findlay, OH 45840.

4. Mazunte (Cincinnati)

You can never go wrong with Mazunte. This popular Mexican eatery features amazing enchiladas, tacos and much more. (We recommend soft corn tacos here.) It is located at 5207 Madison Rd.,

5. Taqueria Mixteca (Dayton)

This is Mexican, Tex-Mex and Latin American food at its finest. Taqueria Mixteca is located at 1609 E 3rd St, Dayton, OH 45403.

6. Casa Del Taco (Chillicothe)

Forget pseudo taco meat and fast food chains. Chillicothe's "Home of the Taco" is fresh, inexpensive and soon to be the "home of your heart." Casa Del Taco is located at 1055 N Bridge St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.

7. Momocho (Cleveland)

Focusing on seasonal and local ingredients, this Mexican restaurant adds a fresh twist to its cuisine.
