Here in Ohio, we have several Mexican restaurants that serve up some seriously mouthwatering, authentic tacos that chain restaurants just can't deliver. The following road trip features some of the absolute best tacos in Ohio. If you're a taco lover, this a trip you'll definitely want to take. Check it out:

1. Mazunte (Cincinnati)

You can never go wrong with Mazunte. This popular Mexican eatery features amazing enchiladas, tacos and much more. (We recommend the fish and soft corn tacos here.) It is located at 5207 Madison Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45227.

2. Taqueria Mixteca (Dayton)

There are exceptional chorizo and steak tacos at Taqueria Mixteca. It serves authentic Mexican cuisine, with seemingly endless taco options—all of which are truly delicious. 3. Guerra’s Krazy Taco (Springfield)

4. Mi Cerrito (Delaware)

5. Condado (Columbus)

6. Casa Nueva Restaurant & Cantina (Athens)

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, this beloved Athens eatery features the area's best Mexican cuisine, made with fresh, local ingredients. (On the weekends, business really picks up, so expect a wait. If the wait is too long for you, we suggest grabbing a seat on the bodega side.) 7. Casa Del Taco (Chillicothe)

Forget pseudo taco meat and fast food chains. Chillicothe's "Home of the Taco" is fresh, inexpensive and soon to be the "home of your heart." (Tip: Ask for a side of the handmade avocado dressing.) Casa Del Taco is located at 1055 N Bridge St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
