In the early 1900s, many German-Russians (and Germans from other provinces) came to the U.S. and settled in North Dakota. Even today, German is the second-most spoken language in the state, after English. So, it's no surprise that the Peace Garden State has tons of tastebud-tingling spots to find German food. Here's one that has especially delicious food - check it out!
Würst Bier Hall is located at 630 1st Avenue N, in Fargo.
While the food comes from age-old recipes, the interior is modern-industrial, with plenty of seating.
This urban German-inspired decor is both quirky and unique.
German food is the specialty here, and they know how to make it up right. Pictured: Spätzle, German potato salad, and Sausage, baked cheese and pepper coulis appetizer.
Start with pierogies and pretzels for appetizers.
You'll find a nice selection of bratwursts, kielbasas, mettwursts and sausages.
The warm German potato salad just about melts in your mouth.
How about a frosty cold beer to go with that delicious German food? They have a huge selection, of course.
For dessert? Warm kuchen and ice cream!
Visit Würst Bier Hall Sunday through Thursday 11 AM to Midnight; Friday and Saturday 11 AM to 2 PM.
Families are welcome here! Kids are allowed until 7 PM, as long as they're accompanied by an adult 21 years or older.
