If there's anything that reminds us all of home, I'd say that it could easily be defined by the one little place you go where everyone knows who you are (and is happy to see you). There's one such spot in North Dakota, hidden away in West Fargo. It's a little hometown diner filled with such charm (and fantastic food) that you're sure to become a regular. This delightful mom-and-pop diner in North Dakota is known as Deaner's Diner - and it's everything you didn't know you needed today.
Deaner's Diner is a decently sized little place, which is good considering the crowds it tends to attract.
Usually, the crowds are made up of locals who have been coming out to this little joint for years - if not longer.
It's a cute, homestyle little place you'd probably expect for a little diner...
...though it is larger on the inside than it appears. Oh, and it's pretty rare you'll ever see it as quiet as the above photo...
...this is more like the usual.
And once you've tried the amazing all-day breakfast, the to-die-for brunch, or the killer lunch, you'll be happy to be a part of the group.
Personally, I have an obsession with the pancakes.
They're enormous, fluffy, and buttery - just the way they ought to be - and Deaner's does 'em perfectly.
Other must-try menu delights include the chili, soups, sandwiches, and, of course, the best desserts you've ever had.
You'll definitely want to save room for a milkshake... or two. Or three. I'm not here to judge.
One thing's for sure: This little mom-and-pop diner in North Dakota does everything right.
If the cult following it (rightfully) has doesn't convince you, well, perhaps the incredible menu will.
I mean, it should.
Eventually, you'll see this cheery logo and associate it with some of the downright best diner food you'll ever eat.
Deaner's Diner is such a delightfully local little eatery that it doesn't even have an official website, though you can always check out Deaner's Diner on its Facebook page for the most up-to-date hours and specials. Just try not to lick the screen when viewing photos of the incredible food, okay? Oh, and I suspect you'll love the sense of humor over there as much as I do.
