There are your regular sit down restaurants or fast food drive-thrus, and then there are places like this: the Pitchfork Steak Fondue in Medora, North Dakota. The name of this place is surprisingly accurate to what it serves. That is, it makes steak... on pitchforks! And the fondue is included, too. Just look at how:
The steaks begin as just this, on real (and clean, of course) pitchforks waiting to be deep fried.
The workers dip the massive steaks into vats right in front of you, until they create the perfect steak.
The food isn't served with any sort of class, but that doesn't really matter in the wild west. Your sides and steak come on a cafeteria tray, but presentation-wise, that meat still looks mouthwateringly good!
And there's something else amazing about this place. The view is phenomenal! All of the seating is outdoors and literally right next to the badlands.

The Pitchfork Steak Fondue also has live performances every night from members of the Medora Musical. It really is a must-do experience if you're taking a trip there! Here is some more info.
