Incase you worked up an appetite after a morning of hiking, there's also a juicy, cheddar burger topped with thick cuts of juicy bacon.

Dining for dinner? Entrees include a variety of fare from land to sea. Of course, when dining in the North Carolina mountains, NC rainbow trout is a staple dish on most menus and you'll find that here. There's also a 'fresh catch of the day,' flat iron steak, ribeye and a chicken Mediterranean. If you're seeking a heartier, more comfort food type option there's a variety of pasta dishes and a well curated wine list to pair.

The Blue Ridge Parkway is a must-drive road for many, with many of us seeking it out for the remoteness and stunning views. Mountain View restaurant might seem to have been plopped in the middle of nowhere but that's part of the fun. It's part views, part food, and total experience.
