Since 2018, the staff at Sideways Farm & Brewery, in Etowah, North Carolina, has offered a unique farm-to-glass brewing experience. Using local wildflower honey to create carbonation in the beverages gives a unique flavor to the unpasteurized, unfiltered, naturally carbonated traditional lagers, farmhouse ales, and hard Jun kombucha — a probiotic created with Asheville Tea Company's Green River Tea. Let's take a look at the unique Sideways Brewery near Asheville and appreciate the small and local experience carved out just for you.
It all starts with the land here, and a portion is left in its natural state for pastured animals, and other wildlife.
Organic farming practices keep the prairie in good shape.
Guided tastings are the best way to appreciate the farm-to-glass process, flavors, and fresh, local ingredients in every pour.
Another unique service is the Bridal U-Pick Experience when the tasting room and the farm is opened exclusively to the bride and guests to pick their flowers two days before the wedding.
Each week one or two new limited-release artisan farm ales are crafted for you to try with limited quantities of no more than 500 bottles and some as few as 50.
To keep your favorite in stock, you might want to buy some to take home before they are sold out.
How pretty is this glass of golden, refreshing brew?
And if you have an upcoming event, consider hosting it at Sideways Farm & Brewery's gorgeous setting.
Regular tasting hours are Friday 3:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday noon-8 p.m., and Sunday noon to 6:00 p.m.
