Known for being one of our most stunning bodies of water and exciting mountain towns, Lake George offers a variety of ways for you to get out and enjoy the water. Adrenaline seekers may choose to fly high in the sky with one of the local parasailing companies in the village, while others may choose to ride one of the famous steamboats like Minne Ha Ha through the Lake George Steamboat Company. But if you're looking for a unique way to get out on the water that takes things nice and slow but still allows you to experience a day that's for the history books, then perhaps it's time that you look into taking a ride with Tiki Tours.
Stationed right at the Village of Lake George Public Docks, Tiki Tours is a blissful way to get out on the water this summer.
Equipped with three Tiki Boats in Lake George, each boat can accommodate up to six passengers or 1,650 pounds in guests - whichever is lighter.
Offering both 60 and 90-minute tiki tours, passengers are allowed to bring aboard their own food and drinks and can even sync up their phones to the bar's Bluetooth stereos!
During the months of July and August, you can book this floating tiki tour every day of the week - with special Tiki Fireworks Cruises that coincide with Lake George's weekly summer fireworks on Thursdays. Imagine getting to see this display from out on the water in a floating tiki bar?
Did we also forget to mention that Tiki Tours also has sunset cruises available too? This is a boat tour that passengers of all ages can appreciate! Tiki Tours in Lake George will be hosting tours from now through September.
During the month of June, Tiki Tours has tours available for booking on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. During both July and August, tours are available to book every day of the week between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m., going back to just Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays for the month of September. Guests of all ages are allowed to experience Lake George's Tiki Tours, but passengers under the age of 13 years old will be required to wear a life vest while they're on board.
Another thing that's amazing about Tiki Tours is that if your hotel is on the southern end of Lake George, they'll come and pick you right up from the shore of where you're staying! Tiki Tours also will make stops for passengers who are interested in dining or drinking at places like The Boardwalk Restaurant, Christie's On The Lake, The Lake George Beach Club, and Scotty's Lakeside Resort Beach Bar And Cafe. Yum! Only going roughly 6MPH, Tiki Tours is the perfect way to get out on the water and relax during the summer.
