Mazurek's Bakery is located at 543 South Park Avenue.
The bakery might appear small from the outside, but inside, they pack a mighty punch. Or should we say... paczki?!
You can almost see the history when you walk into this place.
The bakery window and shelves in this photo show a history almost as rich as the pastries you can find at Mazurek's!
While it looks a bit different today, Mazurek's Bakery still uses the same recipes as it did in the good ol' days.
The Bakery, once known as South Side Bakery, changed hands in 1933 - which is when it became Mazurek's. Over 80 years since the name change, the bakery still uses the same family recipes!
Let's get to the good stuff... and by that, we mean bread!
Carbs, anyone? Mazurek's Bakery specializes in baking up several Polish favorites. Grab yourself a placzek or poppy seed log to satiate your taste buds!
These goodies are not just for fairs anymore!
Do you ever get a craving for fair food in the middle of winter? Same. It's good to know that Mazurek's Bakery offers up fried dough year-round. Just be sure to call ahead to check if they have any freshly made for the day!
It doesn't get much more Buffalo than this.
Mazurek's Bakery is the epitome of Buffalonian culture. Family values, honoring traditions, and producing truly amazing treats are kind of our love language around here.
You almost smell the bread baking from this photo alone...
Mazurek's uses a brick oven with a steam boiler from the 1930s. This helps them get that perfect firm outside to their loaves of bread with the wonderfully soft middles!
Mazurek's might be famous for their breads, but their pastries are a close runner-up.
It just keeps getting better! The pastries at Mazurek's are sure to satisfy even the sweetest tooth. We highly recommend the cream horn (pictured here) and an apple dumpling to go!
Life is sweeter inside this place.
Both literally and figuratively. The staff at Mazurek's are warm and welcoming, and the aroma of the baked goods made inside is heavenly. From breads and rolls to cookies and special holiday treats, you simply must make Mazurek's a stop on your next bakery run!
