One of the best things about our beloved Buffalo is the unpretentious nature of the people and local businesses. We love that everything is inviting and warm, making long winters more bearable and community even more important. And, when something is extra special we love the pride that comes with being from the Queen City. One example? This humble little spot that might just serve the best Italian food in Buffalo!
Santasiero's Restaurant is one of Buffalo's oldest and most beloved restaurants.
Despite being painted in the unmistakable colors of the Italian flag, the exterior is mostly unremarkable.
The no-frills exterior is indicative of what's inside — a simple, but cozy and warm, Italian restaurant that's been keeping locals fed since the 1920s.
There's no menu on the table here — just a wall with your hearty meal choices.
But, what they lack in boastful decor they make up for in the best Italian food around, including an impressive eggplant Parmesan.
They're famous for a perfectly prepared pasta e fagioli that's an easy way to fill up for lunch.
And, of course, you can't go wrong with the classic Italian wedding soup.
Or the even more classic and comforting spaghetti & meatballs.
