They've been a favorite with locals for over 70 years, and it's time you pay them a visit. Let's check it out.
Welcome to Mosca’s Restaurant. This timeless roadside restaurant has been a time-honored tradition for many New Orleans ever since it opened in 1946.
Located along US-90 in Westwego, Mosca’s may not look like much from the outside, but don’t let the unassuming exterior fool you—this place has some of the best Italian food near New Orleans.
It’s a great place to go when you’re with a big group…
…because the portions are served on family-style platters.
The menu features an incredible range of specialty Italian cuisine. Expect to feast on classics like chicken cacciatore, shrimp Mosca, spaghetti bordelaise, and much more.
When you go to Mosca’s you have to try the Oysters Mosca.
This signature dish is a favorite with locals. Fresh oysters are topped with Mosca’s special seasoning and breadcrumbs before being baked. Yum!
