When you want a filling and delicious brunch with great company, head out to the original, Lil Dizzy's on Esplanade.
7) Dooky Chase, 2301 Orleans Ave.
You won't soon forget the creole favorites served here by the groundbreaking New Orleans chef Leah Chase.
8) Gene’s, 1040 Elysian Fields Ave.
When all you want is some comfort food, head on out to Gene's on Elysian Fields, where the hot sausage and cheese po-boy is really something special.
9) Galatoire’s, 209 Bourbon St.
Galatoire's on Bourbon street offers up pages of classic french cuisine in a beautiful bistro with incredible service.
10) Guy’s Po-Boys, 5259 Magazine St.
Is there anything better than a fried shrimp po-boy with a Barqs from the glass? Guy's has the recipe down to a tea.
11) Parkway Bakery & Tavern, 538 Hagan Ave.
This incredible po-boy spot was made famous by their version of the roast beef po-boy--but this surf and turf is really something special.
12) Mandina’s, 3800 Canal St.
This mainstay on Canal Street offers the perfect blend of Italian and New Orleans cuisine. The turtle soup is incredible!
