There are some incredible seafood spots in the Garden State, from shacks along the coast to upscale eateries like The Lobster House and Molos. But there are also a handful of seafood spots that are more than simple shacks with a few (or no) seats but not entirely extravagant. They're less about a romantic night out and more about a boisterous family meal but the food is just as delicious. One of these restaurants is the Blue Claw Crab Eatery in Burlington.
Blue Claw Crab Eatery has been a local favorite since 1961.
The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and the decor is shore (sure) to delight.
They serve up Blue Crabs, Snow Crabs, King Crabs, Dungeness Crabs & Soft Shell Crabs!
Crabs are brought in fresh daily from New Jersey, Florida, the northern Pacific and the pristine waters off the Baja in Mexico.
A meal here is all about flavor and fun. Tables are covered in paper, so feel free to make a mess. (Their words, not mine!)
It's even BYOB - you can bring your own beer or wine.
And you'll find more than crab on the menu. From shrimp to scallops, there's all sorts of seafood. Not a seafood fan but want to bring your fam? Enjoy comfort food favorites like mac n' cheese bites, mozzarella sticks, ribs, wings and more.
They're a great place to grab a meal, but you don't need to take my word for it - SJ Magazine ranked their crabs the best in New Jersey; Best Of Burlington labeled them best eat in & take out.
Blue Claw Crab Eatery is such a wonderful, welcoming spot and you're sure to come back for more. Find them at 4494 Burlington Pike/Rt. 130 NB, Burlington Township. Open all year, their hours are 11 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. from Sunday - Thursday and 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
