The state of New Jersey as a whole offers some of the best pizza in the world. I can think of only a few places that can possibly compete - New York, Chicago and, perhaps surprising to some, Argentina. The Garden State is already a top pizza destination, but one small town truly stands out.
Hoboken is a mile-square city with around two dozen different pizza places.
Though there's no data on this (there should be), that's probably the largest number of pizzerias per square mile in the world. This makes Hoboken perfect for a pizza walking tour.
This shot highlights just several of your options.
Spend an entire day in Hoboken and craft your perfect pizza getaway. There's plenty to do besides eat in this little city, so you'll never be bored. Where to start? Below, I've highlighted some of the most popular places.

Tony Boloney's is another award-winning option.
Perhaps most famous for their subs (they were the winner of Guy Fieri's Cheesesteak Battle), they've also got a spectacular menu of creative pizza options. Pictured is the Shanghai Shuffle with sweet and sour chicken, sesame seeds and scallions. Yum. They've got some of the most inventive creations I've ever seen and unique combinations to suit every taste. Each slice is a work of art. Address: 263 1st Street, Hoboken
