Reading is one of those amazing activities that truly transports you to another world. And while it's fun to snuggle up at home and read a book, it's also great to find public places that celebrate books and reading. Bookstores and libraries are obvious answers to that, but there's one very cool restaurant in New Jersey that's basically paradise for any book lovers out there. Not only is it a place to eat, but it also acts as an actual library. Here's what to know.
Library II might look like a nondescript restaurant, but inside is a slice of heaven for book lovers.
Located in Vorhees, New Jersey, this restaurant has been around since 1972.
Like the name suggests, the inside looks like, well, a library.
Almost all the walls act as bookshelves.
There are so many books in this eatery! It really adds to the ambiance.
And guess what? Guests can sign out books to read at their leisure and return! It's basically like a little library.
You can grab a book from one of the many, many bookshelves here and settle in to read with a drink.
This would probably be a great spot to host a book club meeting.
And don't forget — there is great food here, too. It's a steakhouse, so we'd recommend the steak.
However, there are plenty of other classic American dishes on the menu.
Library II is also well-known for its massive, all-you-can-eat salad bar.
Creating your own salad out of all of these ingredients is just so fun!
Plus, Library II serves absolutely amazing cocktails.
What more could you ask for from a restaurant?
This is the perfect spot to bring the book lover in your life.
