Is there anything better than a visit to a winery, especially during the summer months? New Jersey's countryside is filled with them, and it's easy to feel spoiled for choice when looking at all the options. Me, I love a winery with a personal touch, and I found that in one small winery in Pittstown, NJ. Beneduce Vineyards is a family farm turned winery that has been operating since 2009 as a winery, and it produces over 4,000 cases of wine per year. While the winery does its big business in wine sales, it's no slouch in the hospitality department. This charming winery welcomes visitors to explore its grounds, learn a little about wine-making - and of course, taste some truly amazing wines! A visit to Beneduce Vineyards is the perfect day trip when the days are long and the weather is nice.
Beneduce Vineyards is one of those out-of-the-way destinations that's perfect for a summer day.
A family farm, vineyard, and winery with a tasting room, it's an ideal spot for wine lovers to spend an afternoon.
Of course, when the weather is this nice, you might want to take your wine tasting outside on the patio!
Beneduce Vineyards grows over ten acres of grapes and makes 4,000 cases of wine a year, so things are always busy here.
They grow a wide variety of grapes, including being the only vineyard in New Jersey to grow the Noiret variety.
With all that in mind, it's no surprise that the wines they put out are varied and delicious - with a perfect fit for just about any taste or pairing!
You can taste several of the season's offerings here along with a selection of bread, cheese, and meats for a light meal.
If you're coming later, or want to make a day out of it, the winery frequently hosts summer events complete with live music.
