Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. An Instagram ad caught my eye during a late-night scroll session and I was intrigued by the colorful compartments and versatility of the bag, which can be carried as a duffle or as a backpack (I prefer the backpack for even weight distribution and airport navigation.) Why I Love It: Fact: Airplanes are notoriously dry, dry, dry. No matter how much water I drink both before and during the flight, I always find myself in a hydration deficit for days. Are you on the hunt for a fun and new dining experience in South Jersey? One of the most unique restaurants in New Jersey, Firehouse Bar & Grill, is located in a historic firehouse right in the heart of Egg Harbor City. This casual restaurant used to be a historic firehouse with a story dating back over a century, and still maintains many of the features of the original building. It's one of the most unique dining experiences in this laid-back area of South Jersey, and the place has built quite a fanbase due to its delicious food and original atmosphere. The building itself is the former Egg Harbor City Firehouse, which was built in 1918 and remained the city's main station until 1974.
At the time it was built, Egg Harbor had decided to merge all three of its smaller fire departments, and the larger building accommodated their equipment. They didn't have shiny red trucks at the time -- the bays were initially occupied by horse-drawn wagons.
Now, thanks to a creative restauranteur, the formerly shuttered firehouse is a welcoming bar and grill that serves up some of the best food in the area!
The main menu features so much more than buffalo wings and french fries. You'll find elegantly plated seafood and steak dishes, delicious tacos, and elevated cuisine that will certainly impress.
