New Jersey has a lot of small towns and a lot of roads crisscrossing through them! Along the way, you'll find many gas stations offering you a place to fill up your car and fill up yourself before the next leg of the road trip. Most of these are chains, offering simple sandwiches and packaged snacks. However, once in a while, you'll come across a true hidden gem. That's the case for 130 Truck Stop, a small gas station and truck stop in the town of Cinnaminson that happens to serve some of the best fried chicken in New Jersey. Located in the back of the store, there is a full menu of fast-food treats that will leave you picking up every last crumb - and maybe some extra chicken tenders - before you head back out on the open road.
Editor's Note: The gas station is currently under construction, and we are unsure if the restaurant will open again.
130 Truck Stop in Cinnaminson looks like any other gas station at first glance - but it has a few surprises up its sleeve.
This roadside stop is popular with long-haul truckers who appreciate its extensive stock and hot food selection.
You'll find all the standard packaged foods, of course, along with a few local brands.
There is a place to get a hot cup of coffee or tea - perfect for first thing in the morning.
But the real highlight here is Krispy Krunchy Chicken, a local fried chicken brand that rivals any of the big brands!
The crispy, perfectly seasoned coating is addictive, and you'll definitely want to pick up a side of waffle fries.
The fried chicken sandwich is just as good - on a buttery roll and topped with pickles, just like the popular brand.
There is also a sandwich counter, if you want something a little lighter - making this truck stop almost like a mini-food court!
