We know what fall in New Jersey looks like: changing leaves and earlier nights. We know what it feels like: a crispness in the air. We know what it sounds like: the shrieks of laughter from a good Halloween scare. But what does it taste like? Well, if you ask us, it tastes like apple cider doughnuts. After all, New Jersey has so many locations to get this delicious, fall-favorite treat! These are some of our favorites.
1. Melick's Town Farm
Fun fact: Melick's Town Farm is the largest apple grower in the state! As you can imagine, all those apples lead to great cider doughnuts.
2. Delicious Orchards

3. Demarest Farms

4. Hacklebarney Farm Cider Mill, Bakery and Farm Store
Swing by Hacklebarney Farms for the doughnuts, stay for the corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and apple picking. Doughnuts go best with activities.
5. Montclair Bread Company
This eatery is just the definition of quaint and chic. Get some of the excellent coffee here with your doughnuts.
6. Mood's Farm Market
At this farmer's market in Elk Township, you'll find absolutely amazing doughnuts. You'll also find plenty of other fresh and tasty goods. Bring lots of cash!
7. Johnson's Corner Farm
You have not lived until you've tried the cider doughnuts at Johnson's Corner Farm. Seriously, this Medford farmer's market knows what it's doing.
