When you're hungry, there's nothing more satisfying than a great steak. These days there are plenty of ways to make them at home, but why do that when someone with far more skill can create one of the best you've ever had. From large town to tiny, there are lots of places to satisfy your craving. But you might be surprised to learn that some of the best steakhouses in New Hampshire are actually located in the state's small towns.
1. Jesse's Steaks, Seafood & Tavern, Hanover
The ambiance of this spot is great when you're hoping to feel cozy and comforted. The food here helps, too! There are tons of great steaks here, but we especially love the "black and bleu ribeye" which comes absolutely covered in gorgonzola, bacon and scallions.
2. Red Parka Steakhouse & Pub, Glen
Red Park Steakhouse offers great steaks, but there's a lot more than that. Try the Knife and Fork burger, pictured here, which is named for obvious and delicious reasons!
3. Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse, Salem
It might be surprising that one of our favorite steakhouses has a menu full of sushi, but that's okay with us. Try a variety of things on the menu to truly take it all in.
4. The Tuckaway Tavern and Butchery, Raymond
What started as a simple meat market has grown into one of the best steakhouses in New Hampshire. The menu has tons of options and the drinks are out of this world, too.
5. Buckley's Great Steaks, Merrimack
Buckley's offers a wide variety of great dishes on their menu, but we're partial to the ones that include both salad and steak. Pictured here is the Texas Rubbed Sirloin Salad which comes with a 10oz Texas rubbed sirloin, corn relish, cumin vinaigrette and other fresh and delicious salad veggies.
6. O'Steaks and Seafood South, Concord
While this spot doesn't exactly give off "small town" vibes, we think it earns a place on this just because it's so great. This spot offers one of the best upscale meals in the state. The steak is great and so is the seafood,

Now that you've got dinner covered, be sure to remember breakfast. Nothing beats the homemade treats in New Hampshire and these 7 cinnamon buns are some of the best.
