If you're a seafood lover in New Hampshire, you'll never run out of dining options. From fancy high end restaurants to the most basic clam shacks, we have something to please everyone. Even so, there are definitely spots that stand out - here are a few of our favorites from across the dining spectrum. This list is eclectic in terms of the type of restaurant and the price, and listed in no particular order - think of it as a starting point on your explorations of New Hampshire's seafood offerings.
1. BG's Boathouse Restaurant and Marina, Portsmouth
Whether you want fish, fried clams, or to splurge on a whole lobster, BG's has you covered. It's right on the water, so you can relax on the deck and enjoy the sunset while you eat your meal and have a frosty beverage. They even have a slip available if you want to arrive by boat! By land or sea, get there at 191 Wentworth Rd Portsmouth, NH 03801.
2. The Franklin Oyster House, Portsmouth
Oyster lovers will flip for this gorgeous Portsmouth restaurant. Once you've stuffed yourself face with oysters, try some of their other delicious seafood offerings. You'll find them at 148 Fleet St, Portsmouth, NH 03801.
3. Jake's Seafood & Grill, Ossipee
