There is something about an old fashioned candy store that is so magical. No matter how old you are, walking into a candy store and seeing rows upon rows of colorful treats will make you feel like a kid again. The Granite State has lots of great candy stores, but none are quite like Chutters Candy Store in Littleton, which has the longest candy counter in the world. Are your taste buds ready to experience the wonder that is the best candy store in New Hampshire?
The candy counter at Chutters is 112 feet long, full of over 500 varieties of candy. That's enough to get this candy counter a mention in the Guinness Book of World Records. Of course, the candy counter is just one aspect of this Granite State favorite.
Chutters has been selling candy in Littleton since the late 1800s. The store combines homemade candies and fudge with manufactured favorites.
The store is particularly famous for its amazing fudge, which comes in flavors like salted sea salt, mint creme and raspberry cheesecake. Any flavor you get will be the right one.
Just be sure to save room for the chocolate counter, which will leave your eyes as wide as a child's.
Chutters also has M&Ms in any color that you could possibly want.
The store is like New Hampshire's very own Wonka factory, completely with a timeless look and feel.
If you prefer savory rather than sweet, Chutters also sells New Hampshire sauces, marinades and syrups.
And if you're in search of seasonal flavors, you'll love discovering goodies like candy corn and candy canes.
In addition to the flagship store in Littleton, Chutters has stores in Lincoln and Bretton Woods (open during ski season).
