All board the dinner train! It's time to choo-choo-choose what's for dinner at this restaurant in a vintage train depot building. There are plenty of historic places to dine in New Hampshire, but we especially love this place for it's old-school feel and actual history. Once used by folks visiting the Bretton Woods, this restaurant will not only have you thinking about the old days, but it will fill your belly as well!
Fabyan's Restaurant is housed within one of the original railroad stations in the Crawford Notch area.
The station has been converted from an actual useable train depot to a wonderful restaurant and lounge that's perfect if you're exploring Bretton Woods.
We love it year round, but it's coziest in winter.
Inside you'll be able to see that it was once a train station.
But, at the same time, the ambiance is classic and inviting.
The meals are casual, but are sure to fill you up.
Choose from fun lunch meals like this.
Or, come for dinner and get something slightly more upscale.
They've even got a strong snack menu that's great if you're passing through the area in need of a quick break.
Whatever your reason and whatever the time, this is a great piece of local history that will also be sure to send you home satisfied.
