If you are like me, you are addicted to the Food Network, Travel Channel, and Cooking Channel. While I love to cook, I also love to discover great places to eat near me. From shows like UNLV alumnus Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives to Travel Channel's Food Paradise to the Cooking Channel's Food Wars—and more—it's always a pleasure seeing a local eatery featured on television. Here is a list of 14 of the best "as seen on TV" restaurants in the Silver State.

One of Iron Chef Bobby Flay's brainchildren, Mesa Grill features Flay's own signature Tex-Mex, southwestern flair. Impeccable service, great ambiance, and superlative food makes this eatery one you must try. Mesa Grill has been featured on Celebrity Chefs and The Best Thing I Ever Ate (pictured is the tiger shrimp tamale which, in fact, is the best thing chef Michael Symon has ever eaten.)

Opened in 2009, Aces & Ales has over 22 taps, 50-70 rare bottles, and over 100 cellared kegs. Aces & Ales’ selection will appeal to beer connoisseurs as well as the casual beer drinker. Not just a bar, however, Aces & Ales has some of the most delicious bar food around, especially its buffalo wings, "arrogant bastard" onion rings (pictured), and soft Bavarian pretzels (my personal favorite!) Aces & Ales was featured on the Food Network's Drinking Made Easy.

The breakfast, especially, is out of this world, particularly the light and fluffy waffles and the huevos rancheros with the Coffee Cup's famous chili verde (pictured.) Add to the great food terrific coffee and impeccable service and you have a scrumptious eatery you will definitely want to visit again and again.

Delilah at The Wynn Las Vegas is a great place to dine - but it offers so much more than great food. If you're looking for a dining experience you'll always remember - this is it!

There are over 2,000 restaurants to choose from when dining in Las Vegas, Nevada, and so many of them are special. You can have an incredible and memorable breakfast, lunch, or dinner at any one of them, and it's often hard to narrow down the selections, let alone choose a single one. Due to this difficulty, it's often wise to choose a Las Vegas restaurant that not only offers an elevated, satisfying meal, but one that's also offers an unforgettable dining experience overall. When the food, setting, service, and entertainment all comes into play, you're sure to have a time to remember.

One special restaurant in this unique and vibrant city that offers all of the above and more is Delilah at The Wynn Las Vegas. This spot bills itself as "a modern-day supper club" and it certainly fits that billing perfectly. It's located right by the Tower Suites registration desk on the main floor of this upscale hotel and casino. When you step inside Delilah, you'll feel like you've been transported back to the 1950s and to the glitz and glamour of early Las Vegas showrooms and nightclubs.

Delilah is only open for dinner and beyond - which makes sense, as it's a supper club - and the dress code is "upscale casual chic," although you'll find that the emphasis among dinner guests tends to lean more toward the upscale than the casual. Children under 12 are not permitted at all, and Delilah is 21+ and over after 7 p.m., thereby encouraging a vibe and atmosphere that leans hard toward adult cocktail party as opposed to one that implies family fun.

The food you'll find at Delilah fits the restaurant's theme, but you won't find weird, unappetizing, vintage 1950s gelled or loafed dishes on the menu. Instead, you'll find appetizers like Spicy Tuna Tartare, Black Truffle Lobster Rolls, and Prime Beef Carpaccio and mains including Delilah Beef Wellington, King Crab Cavatelli Alla Vodka, and Ora King Salmon. Diners rave about "The Only Caviar Service" as an add on; it includes ossetra caviar, tiny waffles, whipped crème fraîche, parsley, shallot, and eggs mimosa.

Be sure to leave room for dessert, though, because Delilah's desserts are as flavorsome as they are beautiful. Of course, no 1950s menu would be complete without Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, but you also might opt for Grandmas's Gooey Butter Cake which is full of guava jam, vanilla bean crème fraîche, and makrut lime, or a heavenly Delilah Sundae that's built for sharing with a companion.

Of course, Delilah also has a late night scene on weekends and a late night menu for those night that is offered starting at 11 p.m., making it the perfect spot to go after seeing a Vegas show with your date. Options like Delilah's Famous Chicken Tenders, Waygu Yakitori Skewers, or Korean Street Tacos are all fantastic options that will give you fuel to continue enjoying your Las Vegas night.

What truly makes the Delilah experience special, though, is the entertainment. This restaurant is, after all, a supper club, and you can enjoy live music, special performances, and DJs while you dine. Sunday Night Jazz is especially popular. You'll love sipping 1950s-inspired specialty cocktails while you listen to and watch the performers.

Delilah is considered one of Las Vegas' most beautiful restaurants and the design and decor was inspired by photos of the Strip from long ago. You will surely be amazed by the attention to detail and comfort throughout the space. A night at Delilah at The Wynn Las Vegas should be on the itinerary of every visitor to Las Vegas, and surely once you visit this restaurant once, you'll want to return every time you come back to the city. Lake Tahoe is one of our nation's crown jewels. Many consider this gigantic, deep blue body of water to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the entire world. It's the largest freshwater lake in the United States after the five Great Lakes, and it's the second deepest after Oregon's Crater Lake. Its shoreline is shared by California and Nevada and it's surrounded by mountains. It certainly has its own character and people come from all over the country and the world to view and enjoy it.

If you're looking for a restaurant with an incredible, panoramic view of this spectacular lake, then you'll love dining at Lone Eagle Grille in Incline Village, Nevada. This restaurant is located right on the lake in this popular northshore tourist destination and is just steps from the Nevada-California border. It's part of the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa, and Casino, but it's in a separate building across Lake Shore Boulevard.

People dine at Lone Eagle Grille for the views, first and foremost. No matter what the season, the views of the lake from this restaurant are worth the trip alone. Those who choose to eat indoors can see the lake and surrounding mountains through tall, floor to ceiling windows. During the warmer months, many diners select seating on the al fresco patio; cocktails and wine can be ordered from the waitstaff to the lakefront fire pit year-round.

Dinner mains include a variety of beef, fish, lamb, and elk options, all cooked to perfection based on your preferences. Pasta, poultry, and seafood dishes offered all come with the perfect accompanying sides, chosen by the chef, and there are a number of additional sides to consider as well.

Vegetarians will be happy to find numerous vegetarian options available on the menu as well, and wine lovers will appreciate the restaurant's extensive wine list. And, families visiting Lake Tahoe will be pleased to learn that a prix-fixe, three-course children's menu is offered and is fairly priced, too.
