This brewery out in the Sandhills is a remote gem; it takes a bit of effort to get to, but it's totally worth it. Once you find it, you'll want to stay all night drinking, eating, and enjoying the beautiful cabins on site.

Bootleg Brewers Sandhills Brewing Co. is a small but popular spot just outside of Taylor, Nebraska. The brewery began as a hobby and evolved until the large facility in the Sandhills opened in 2016.

The property covers more than 40 acres, including a massive outdoor beer garden where you can relax, celebrate, and just enjoy the idyllic Sandhills setting.

You'll find an impressive array of beers served here, including the Sandhills Cream Ale and the flagship brew Cling On, a full-bodied American wheat.

As well known and unforgettable as the beers are, the food is just as impressive. A full menu is served in the huge two-level dining room, along with a large selection of spirits.

If you'd like to know which beer pairs well with which meal - or vice versa - just ask. The friendly staff will be happy to help you figure out the perfect combination to satisfy your appetite.

After a full afternoon of eating and drinking, you may be feeling just a little groggy. Luckily, there are several cabins on the property that make for the perfect place to spend a relaxing evening away from home.

The cabins were all hand-built; the lovely interiors are comfortable and not overly fussy, making them perfect for spending a quiet evening in.
