Nebraska is pretty far from France, but you can still feel like you're standing on the streets of Paris when you visit this unforgettable bakery. Come for the pastries, the freshly-baked bread, or the filling meals - no matter what you get, you're sure to leave with a smile on your face.
Le Quartier Bakery and Cafe has three locations: one in Lincoln and two in Omaha.
The bakery was founded by Lincoln native John Quiring in March 2006.
Quiring learned his trade in Montreal and Paris, then brought his expertise back to Nebraska.
That was a stroke of luck for Nebraskans - especially those of us who just can't get enough of these sweet European treats.
The first thing that will catch your attention when you walk into any of the locations is the display case full of incredible pastries.
Chocolate and almond croissants, colorful macarons, moist cupcakes, beautiful fruit tarts, and much more are on display, just waiting for a new home in your belly.
If it's a meal you're after, Le Quartier has so much to offer. Enjoy a slice of savory quiche or choose from a variety of delectable breakfast sandwiches.
Lunch is a delicious experience here. Sandwiches are served on house-made bread or croissants. Get yours with a side of incredible fresh soup or a crunchy salad.
Whether you go for a quick bite with a flaky pastry or sit down for a more filling meal, you'll leave already craving your next visit.
