If you enjoy knitting, you already know that a good selection of yarn is vital. And if you happen to live near Billings, you may have noticed the "new kid on the block," the Yarn Bar, which opened in 2017. If you have yet to check out these intoxicating fibers, we highly recommend stopping in and seeing the selection for yourself.
Yarn Bar is located at 1940 Grand Avenue in Billings.
It's owned and operated by Linda and Sue, friends who met through the local mom circuit.
While you won't find any booze at this bar, the ladies do sell intoxicating yarns.
The yarns are carefully curated by this duo of experts.
The walls are lined with fabulous fabrics and yarn so you can design your next creations...
... and if you need some inspiration, just sign up for a class or event.
The class and event schedule is on the website, and it has everything from beginner tutorials to more advanced lessons.
Linda and Sue keep the place stocked with the highest quality products, and someone is always around to answer your questions and help.
This place is a dream come true for creative knitters.
Yarn Bar is open Monday-Saturday, so you'll have plenty of chances to shop.
They're open 10-6 Tuesday - Friday. On Mondays they're open until 8 p.m., and on Saturdays they close at 4.
You'll definitely be intoxicated by the selection at Yarn Bar -- and every hour is happy hour! If this is the sort of store you adore, check out Missoula's favorite spot, The Confident Stitch.
