Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. An Instagram ad caught my eye during a late-night scroll session and I was intrigued by the colorful compartments and versatility of the bag, which can be carried as a duffle or as a backpack (I prefer the backpack for even weight distribution and airport navigation.) Why I Love It: Fact: Airplanes are notoriously dry, dry, dry. No matter how much water I drink both before and during the flight, I always find myself in a hydration deficit for days. In a town that might be best known for its beautiful landscape and access to outdoor adventure, you might be surprised to also find one of our favorite donut shops. The Spot, located on Woodland Park Drive in Kalispell, has become a local favorite for good reason. They offer some of the best breakfast food in the area!
They're probably best known for being the area's first specialty donut shop. They offer a brioche-style donut which is made in a unique process taking 24 hours.
And they use high-quality local ingredients in everything they make. Best of all, their donuts are made in small batches which makes them unique and extra-special.
Their menu features what they refer to as "OG Flavors" which includes vanilla bean, maple, chocolate, and vanilla with sprinkles. Their other flavors could be just about anything at any given time!
If you're more of a savory morning person, they also offer some great breakfast sandwiches. Each one is loaded with things like egg, bacon, and cheese.
And, if that's not enough to lure you in, they also offer the best buttermilk biscuits you've ever had. Enjoy one topped with sausage and gravy to start your morning in the most epic way possible.
The Spot in Kalispell is open Sunday through Wednesday each week.
