Do you believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day, or could you take it or leave it? For years, Bozeman's Storm Castle Cafe has been converting people into breakfast eaters, although sometimes that breakfast is eaten in the afternoon. At this unpretentious eatery, you can enjoy breakfast all day.
Storm Castle Cafe is located on Tai Lane in Bozeman, right by the MSU campus.
If you walk by on any day the cafe is open, you'll smell the coffee and delicious food cooking and hear the sounds of happy patrons.
The cafe was founded by Scott Peterson and his wife Nicole Warner, who have been in the food service industry for decades.
Following the sale of their family-run restaurant, Peterson’s Spirits & Eatery, the couple ran a catering business for a while before moving their efforts to Bozeman. Scott was born and raised in Bozeman before attending the New England Culinary Institute.
Food is a form of art for Scott, and Nicole is excellent at creating a welcoming ambiance.
Needless to say, this place is quite popular.
When it comes to the breakfast menu, you can't go wrong with one of the classic options...
...but don't be afraid to try something creative, or go for the famous Monte Cristo.
Savory French Toast stuffed with shaved ham and Swiss cheese, pancake-battered and deep-fried... it tastes like heaven on Earth.
Breakfast is served until 3 p.m. here, and there is a dinner menu worth checking out.
With entree names like Poncho and Lefty and Po Campo, ordering food here is never boring.
Storm Castle Cafe is a small, family-owned business, so their business hours vary.
Currently, they're open Wednesday - Sunday from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. They are working on expanding their team so they can expand that schedule.
