This colorful restaurant is still fairly new to the Missoula dining scene, but we're absolutely hooked. Or bowled over, as it were.

Tomatoes picked fresh off the vine. Beef from a local ranch just a few miles away. Stocks simmered and stirred up fresh daily. That's what Soup Farm is made of!

Here in Big Sky country, we love our local ranchers and farmers - and we're not afraid to show it. The owners of Soup Farm feel the same way and are committed to honoring food at its prime, serving up locally sourced Montana-fresh ingredients both in-house and to-go. Hence, the "Farm" in Soup Farm!

At this colorful, can't-miss restaurant, soup is naturally the star of the show. But each kettle is carefully and lovingly made from scratch utilizing house-made stocks and bases.

Flavors rotate daily and seasonally, utilizing peak Big Sky produce and meats whenever possible for exceptional flavor and freshness.

Due to the frequent rotations, you won't find a printed menu here. Instead, every visit to this casual Missoula restaurant offers new and delicious soup varieties to tempt the tastebuds and entice the senses.

West African Cashew, Hungarian Mushroom, Korean Beef and Rice, and even Borscht are just a few selections that have graced the soup counter recently.

Hesitant to slurp outside the box and veer from the classics? Soup Farm has you covered! No matter what day you visit, you're sure to find something right up your tastebuds' alley.

Chef-owners, Jim and Laura, strive to ensure that there are always a variety of flavors to suit every palette: simple and brothy, hearty and filling, vegan/vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten-free, and more.

It's hard to choose which option to try first!

Butternut Squash and Apple on a chilly day? Or a refreshing bowl of Summer Vegetable Minestrone with green beans, zucchini, and parmesan cheese? Try the Pork Chile Verde for an extra kick!

But while the fresh soups are the heroes here, the rest of the menu is far from being on the backburner.

The sandwiches, salads, and sweets here are all homemade, generously assembled, and just as creative (and irresistibly delicious) as their slow-simmered counterparts.

Thanks in part to numerous relationships built over decades of running another restaurant downtown, Soup Farm is also all-in on minimal waste in addition to their conscientiously-sourced ingredients.

That means no plastic utensils are used here, and as much of each product is utilized as possible.

In the future, Soup Farm hopes to add even more made-from-scratch meals to their kitchen rotation. The take and bake pot pies are already a hit!

Orders can be placed in person or online, and all of Soup Farm's soups come in a variety of sizes for both families and individuals.
