No matter which route you take to Glacier National Park, you'll pass through a few charming small towns. What you won't find is a lot of fine dining options or trendy bars or even many amenities in general. However, if you pass through Coram (population: 434) you might be surprised. This tiny town has just opened up a cozy, little speakeasy.
It isn't every day that you hear a new craft cocktail bar has opened up in an old homesteader cabin just a few miles from Glacier National Park.
But that's exactly where you'll find Josephine's Speakeasy, which just opened its doors and made its big debut.
Until recently, Josephine's Speakeasy was known as Josephine's Bar & Kitchen, which was open seasonally and served fantastic locally sourced food.
But this year, they decided to make a few changes that seem pretty exciting.
Josephine's Speakeasy has teamed up with Glacier Distilling Company to create some exceptional cocktails.
Glacier Distilling is a craft distillery that specializes in small-batch whiskeys, although they produce a variety of spirits.
Until the end of September, you can stop by for a drink or two daily between noon and 8 p.m.
What a perfect way to cap off a day of exploring some of Glacier's finest spots!
Guests can also enjoy a great selection of tapas and a few daily dining specials.
When you visit, make sure to come hungry.
Come check out the creative cocktail list at Josephine's Speakeasy this summer.
Even if you're not a drinker, the selection of mocktails (Temperance) will win you over. Sparkling water with house-made lavender syrup and fresh lemon, anyone?
Have you ever passed through Coram? This year, you'll have a good reason to visit. Check out this menu!
