With a population of less than 500 people, it's safe to say that Emigrant is a small town by any definition. That being said, the locals are lucky enough to have a few seriously tasty places to eat. Wildflour Bakery and Cafe, for example, serves the most delicious cinnamon rolls on Earth...or at least, it feels that way. The next time you find yourself in Park County, stop by and try one yourself.
Wildflour Bakery is located on Overlook Road in Emigrant.
It shares the property with Follow Yer' Nose BBQ, which we happen to think is a great combination.
The bakery was re-established in 2012 by Taylor and Rebecca Henson.
And though it has changed quite a bit over the years, the emphasis on fresh, made-from-scratch food has always been the same.
Rebecca's love of baking (and eating, for that matter), was born from her love of travel.
The food here is no-frills, but that just proves that simple is best, because everything on the menu is mouthwatering.
You'll smell the cinnamon rolls as soon as you approach the door.
Much like everything else here, they're made fresh daily.
We're not saying that these cinnamon rolls are life-changing, but we won't deny that they could be, either.
And the other pastries like scones, coffee cake, turnovers, and cobbler bars are out of this world.
If a savory breakfast is more your style, treat yourself to a piping hot Futurebird Sandwich (pictured here) or a Breakfast Burrito.
The breakfast menu is small here, but it's irresistible. Wildflour Bakery is all about quality over quantity.
Hours vary at Wildflour Bakery, but they tend to open at 7:30 a.m. from Thursday - Sunday.
Get there early if you want to ensure you can enjoy a fresh, warm cinnamon roll.
