7. Waldo Pizza - Kansas City

Waldo isn't thin crust, but it isn't deep dish style either. Their soft pillow-like crust creates the best comfort food pizza in the city. It's located in Kansas City's Waldo neighborhood and it's right next to a few great sports bars in case you want to watch some March Madness games after.

Bella Napoli would have to be one of the most authentic Italian eateries in Kansas City. When you walk in, it's not uncommon to hear some of the staff speaking Italian to the customers. In my opinion, that's when you know a place is legit. Their thin crust pizza and light use of cheese stays true to the more authentic Italian style pizza.
