A busy chef at Angelo’s back in 1947 inadvertently dropped one of the raviolis into hot oil instead of water and…voila! Toasted ravioli was born.
It quickly became one of the most popular appetizers and main dishes in the state and its reputation is legendary! All these years later that mistake is still feeding hungry stomachs.
