The Donut Shop has been in business for years now, and in that time has become known for its mouthwatering selection of fresh baked donuts and other pastries.

Here in Mississippi, we love Dairy Queen, but have you ever stopped and asked, “where is the oldest Dairy Queen in Mississippi?” You might think that every Dairy Queen in our state is the same; however, that’s not necessarily true. There’s one Dairy Queen that stands out from the rest for several reasons. First of all, it no longer operates under the Dairy Queen name. And secondly, it’s been slinging burgers and ice cream for over 75 years! Have you figured out the local gem that we’re featuring today? It’s none other than Phillips Drive-In in Laurel.
