Downtown Ocean Springs is full of charming shops – and The Candy Cottage is one of them!
As charming as it sounds, the candy store has been sweetening up Ocean Springs since opening in 1992.
It may not be the largest store, but it’s brimming with tasty treats.
And just like candy stores of yesteryear, it carries sweets of all sorts. There are old-fashioned favorites, seasonal candies, and lots more.
But the specialty at The Candy Cottage is southern confections.
Correction: homemade southern confections, which are cooked to perfection daily.
Fudge and pralines are plentiful – and come in a variety of flavors.
One of the store’s most popular treats, though, is its famous pecan log.
The iconic treat is made using a family recipe that dates back to the 1930s and has roots in Louisiana.
