Tea parties are a part of growing up. But what if I told you they don’t have to end when your childhood does? That’s right; thanks to a charming Bay St. Louis tea room, you can enjoy a real high tea experience, regardless of your age. Take a look:
Please note, Antique Maison Ulman has permanently closed.
This is Antique Maison Ulman. Opened in 2014, it’s an antique mall that just so happens to include a whimsical tea room.
It’s located at 317 Ulman Avenue in Bay St. Louis.
Occupying a space in the middle of the mall, the tea room is the only one of its kind in Bay St. Louis.
The charming space provides the perfect setting for elaborate tea experiences, complete with lace tablecloths, antique furniture, and 1940s-era music to help set the scene.
Vintage china plates and glassware only add to the authenticity of the enchanting event.
High tea is served Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Keep in mind, reservations are required and must be made 48 hours in advance.
In addition to an assortment of teas, the high tea spread includes a variety of sandwiches and sweets.
The menu also features soups, salads, mini quiches, and more.
At a cost of $20 per person, attending high tea is reasonably affordable, especially when you consider that the price includes a mouthwatering meal and an unforgettable experience.
And remember, the tea room is situated in the middle of an antique shop, so you can do a little shopping during your visit.
From the food to the atmosphere, this whimsical tea room is a great experience for all ages!
