Reminiscent of wine country, a visit to the charming bistro is the perfect place for a quick escape. Take a look:
Please note, Central Station Bistro has permanently closed.
This is Central Station Bistro. It’s located in Bay St. Louis, just a few blocks from the beach and Old Town.
Opened just last year, the charming bistro features several nods to California wine country — and that’s no coincidence. The owners, Janice and Jim Hall, moved to Bay St. Louis from Palm Springs, CA.
Despite the move, there was one part of California the Halls couldn’t leave behind — wine country. And so, the Central Station Bistro was born.
A wine lovers dream come true, the menu features 36 different wines!
In addition to a variety of wines, the menu includes charcuterie boards, cured meats, cheese plates, baked brie wheels, and fresh baguettes.
There’s much more to love about the bistro than the fare, though. There’s also the cozy, homelike surroundings, which is party due to the comfy furnishings and soft lighting.
Perfect for everything from group outings to date nights, there are lots of seating options. Inside, you’ll find the main room and fireplace lounge. There’s also a private room, which is opened as needed.
Visit on a nice day and you can enjoy the bistro’s ample outdoor seating, which includes a patio and picnic area.
There’s even a firepit, making sure you’ll be nice and cozy while indulging on great wine and tasty bites.
From the fare to the surroundings, a visit to Central Station Bistro is a real treat for the senses!
