So strawberry season is over, and it's time for fall colors and fall foods! You might be surprised to find out how many different kinds of produce you can pick yourself in Minnesota! So while you're gearing up for the annual apple picking trip, check out these places for some awesome options and skip the produce section for a bit!
1. Lavalier's in Grand Rapids might be known for berries and apples like many other MN places, but they also have pumpkins and squash that you should definitely try!
2. Apple Jack Orchards in Delano is a TC favorite for apples, but also has phenomenal fall raspberries! Get 'em while there are some left!
Tip: There are multiple places with raspberries in the fall so wait until it cools off to get the best ones!
3. At Peter's Pumpkins & Carmen's Corn, you can pick a variety of veggies and fruits but nothing beats their corn!
4. It's fall festival time at Red Barn Learning Farm, an awesome place to play and pick and teach kids about farming and animals!
5. Natura Farms has a HUGE variety of PYO throughout the year, but right now it's time for raspberries and elderberries as well as apples, of course!
6. It's produce picking heaven at Cherith Farms in Belle Plaine and everything is pesticide free! Check out the tomatoes and raspberries right now!
7. Sam Kedem Nursery & Garden has more PYO offerings than you can imagine but right now they are doing PYO apples, strawberries, raspberries, and tomatoes.
8. Bridgewater Produce Farm is full of fall family fun and you can PYO or get pre-picked pumpkins and squash!
9. Knapton's - Raspberries, Pumpkins & Orchard is having an amazing year with fresh raspberries, apples, tomatoes, and plums!
10. We've talked about all the other cool things you can pick, but still have to give mention to apples! They may be EVERYWHERE in MN but it's because we love them so much!
