Black Forest Inn is a historic German restaurant in Minneapolis that has been serving delicious fare since 1965. Its bratwurst, spaetzle, breads, and pastries are all made in-house and the restaurant has won several awards over the years for authentic favorites like Schnitzel, Sauerbraten, and the signature Black Forest Cherry Torte. It was recently one of two restaurants in Minnesota to be awarded grants to fund upkeep, repairs, and operations by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
