It's not hard to walk down a city street or do a quick Google search and stumble upon your newest favorite restaurant. But what about when you're looking for something just a bit different? There's one Minneapolis restaurant that might just be the most whimsical restaurant in the city. Check it out:
Betty Danger's Country Club is a quirky restaurant with a distinct point of view. The restaurant is a tongue-in-cheek ode to the stuffy country clubs most of us will never join.
But aside from the occasional cashmere sweater set or argyle pattern, Betty Danger's turns the country club idea on its head.
Instead of rolling acres of lush green golf courses, Betty Danger's is home to a quirky mini golf course.
And instead of saunas and massages, this restaurant has a much more exhilarating form of entertainment: a large, working Ferris wheel.
It takes guests high above the city street on which it resides for spectacular views of Minneapolis.
Inside, the restaurant's whimsical atmosphere is continued throughout the dining areas.
As for the food, it is just what you might expect from a restaurant that calls itself "a country club for the 99%."
The menu offers "Tex-Mex with a preppy twist," with everything from taco salad to braised chicken. The enchiladas and burritos are also worth trying.
They serve a tasty weekend brunch, too!
You can even top off your meal with something sweet. The pecan pie is especially delicious.
