Few comfort foods are more well-loved than pizza. Whether you prefer your pie topped with gooey cheese, covered in pepperoni, or shrouded in delicious veggies, there’s nothing better than digging into a few slices while spending time with loved ones. During these uncertain times, many of our favorite Michigan pizzerias remain closed for dine-in service, but that doesn't mean you can’t enjoy your favorite meal. One small restaurant chain is offering a unique new way to get your pizza fix.
VItale’s Pizza operates several locations throughout Michigan, including eateries in Grand Rapids, Zeeland, Hudsonville, Comstock Park, Rockford, and Ada.
No matter which restaurant you visit, you’ll always find plenty of fantastic fare in store. Vitale’s has a long history of serving fresh pizza and other eats to hungry locals.
That’s right: this family-operated gem has operated in the area for more than 50 years, opening its original location in Grand Rapids all the way back in the mid 1960s.
During less stressful times, most Vitale’s locations are bustling with activity. In fact, many locals drop in regularly to watch sporting events and mingle with loved ones.
Despite its current lack of dine-in service, Vitale’s is still finding ways to make customers smile. In fact, it now offers a take-home pizza kit so families can enjoy DIY deliciousness.
Each take-home kit costs just $9.99 and includes pepperoni, cheese, special Vitale’s sauce, and enough dough to create a 14-inch pie. Is your mouth watering yet?
If you’re not quite in the mood to make your own pizza, don’t worry: the restaurant’s locations also continue to offer traditional take-out and delivery options throughout the area.
Life might look a little different than usual right now, but Vitale’s Pizza and other locally owned eateries make it easier to navigate these difficult and unprecedented times together.
