1. Shatila Bakery

Shatila Bakery has tons of delicious desserts from cakes, cookies and so much more. But check out their ice cream counter and get a scoop or two of either mango, strawberry, or cherry.

2. Guernsey Farms Dairy

Guernsey Farms Dairy is located at 21300 Novi Rd. in Northville, but you can also find their delicious ice cream served in several local markets and grocery stores!

3. The Custard Hut

Custard Hut is known for their waffle custard sandwiches. You'll get scrumptious ice cream sandwiches filled with Nutella or cake batter.

4. Bob Jo's Frozen Custard

Be warned: On hot summer days, you'll see long lines at Bob Jo's. It's not your typical ice cream, but the frozen custard is just way too good to not mention on this list.

5. Calder Brothers Dairy

All products here are made directly on the family farm, and you'll find delicious flavors here like creamy peanut butter and cherry.

6. Treat Dreams

You'll find a bunch of different and unique flavors here, like bubble gum ice cream with Nerds or electric blue Cookie Monster. No worries, there are classic flavors here as well!

Ferndale, but they also make appearances around town with their wonderful mobile food truck!

7. La Michoacana

Fruit popsicles are the way to go at this Detroit location!

They are located at 4336 W Vernor Hwy. in Detroit.

8. Mangonadas Del Barrio

This spot is named after the classic Mexican dessert, which is made with frozen mangos topped with chili, lime, and tamarind paste.

9. Tou & Mai

Tou & Mai is known for their amazing bubble tea, but check out their "Hello, Hello," which features ube and mango ice cream, red azuki bean, coconut, and condensed milk, all topped with wafer cookies.

10. Detroit Water Ice Factory

Detroit Water Ice Factory serves up 21 yummy flavors of D-ICE water ice. It's similar to Italian ices, but a whole lot creamer!
