If you're looking for the fanciest burger you've ever had, you won't find it here. Roy's is known for their burgers made of steak - and that's what you get. Simple, delicious and served up with a smile. Some say they're on the small side, but we think that's a good excuse to get two! Visit them on Cruise Night for good, Maine summer fun!

Portland's Grace makes this list for two reasons. One is their $6 Grace Burger, which GRACES the bar menu every day. It's small, perfect and inexpensive enough to eat every single day. The other reason is that it's paradise for those that bore easily. For you, there's always The Rival. Every two weeks, Grace comes up with a unique take on burgers with a creation that is meant to stand up against the Grace Burger. Check them both out and then decide which is better.

3 Crow is truly one of the most iconic burger spots in Maine. The bacon burger gets rave reviews - it's ground on the premises and comes with an entire slab of bacon.

You've heard the stories, you've nay-sayed the hype, but the reality is that the Seven Napkin Burger is actually pretty incredible. It was voted best burger in Maine by Food Network, which had us feeling a bit wary, actually. But, it won't disappoint. It's piled with cheese, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce and onions along with a hearty slather of mustard, mayonnaise and ketchup. In addition to being one of our favorite general stores in the state, we love the overall laid back vibe of this place. They've got plenty of other food on the menu, but don't miss out on this burger. Our pro-tip is to grab more than seven napkins though.

Fat Boy does a lot of things right. From seafood to fried accompaniments (awesome onion rings, for instance) there is plenty on offer. But, try the Whoperburger first. It's classic and messy, just as it should be at a place with "fat" in the name. And, the good news is that they've just recently re-opened for the season. Take advantage of the throwback drive-in feel and munch out in your car until the temps match the mood of the place!

Fog's menu features their signature burger front and center. Featuring grass-fed, humanely raised beef, topped with sriracha onion rings, bacon jam and melted asiago cheese, this guys comes on a toasted brioche bun with a side of duck dusted fries. If that's not exciting enough for you, they also have a daily special burger which changes...daily.

After a sunny day skiing, there's nothing like tucking into a Bag Burger. Consistently juicy and with two delicious slices of cheese - it's worth grabbing even when it's not ski season.
If you want a casual place to watch the game, have some beers and enjoy a burger head to Rollie's. With daily changing burgers and the ever-popular Rollienator, you'll leave feeling satisfied.

Behold, the pretzel burger. This grass-fed burger comes from Herring Brothers in Guilford. It's cooked to perfection, then smothered with sautéed onions and mushrooms, along with melted Swiss on a toasted pretzel bun. The bus is also locally made at Fork and Spoon. This one is a must-try! Maine has a fantastic dining scene, with most of it crowded into top cities like Portland, Augusta, and Bangor. I've been to the Pine Tree State many times, and there's one thing I'll never leave without - a traditional lobster dinner. Lobster might as well be the official food of Maine, and there are plenty of spots across the state to get a great one. One of the best has to be Cook's Lobster and Ale House, an old-school seafood joint that looks like it's built into an old lobster pound. You'll find this hidden gem on Bailey Island, which is well off the coast. However, this island restaurant in Maine is well worth the visit. Not only will you get some amazing food here, but you'll be in one of the most beautiful spots in the northeast.
A day on Bailey Island is an incredible adventure, bringing you up to the Atlantic off the coast of Maine. You'll find incredible hikes, beautiful vistas, and one of the most peaceful beaches in the state. And after a day of hiking, you'll have worked up an appetite.
Cook's Lobster and Ale House has been an institution on Bailey Island for more than 60 years. This laid-back but classy seafood joint is one of the best spots in the state for a seafood dinner, and during the offseason, the crowds are usually pretty light.

Seafood is the specialty here. Some of the signature items include lobster rolls overflowing with meaty, fried whole-belly clams that are among the best in the state, and a baked stuffed haddock that is perfectly New England.
But there's no better way to spend a meal here than enjoying a fresh-steamed lobster, still bursting with the flavor of the sea. When you eat lobster in Maine, you know the odds are good that it was just hauled off the boat.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. Why I Love It: Fact: Airplanes are notoriously dry, dry, dry. No matter how much water I drink both before and during the flight, I always find myself in a hydration deficit for days.
