This sleek little kitchen bar is often bustling with Portlanders and visitors who are just dying to sink their teeth into Nosh's specialty item: its thick, juicy burgers.
Beef from the burgers is carefully sourced, pasture-raised and grass-fed. The burgers are constructed using a special mix of beef chuck, beef brisket, pork shoulder, and bacon, all of which make up the most incredibly juicy, flavorful burger.
Nosh has a dozen burgers to choose from, and most of them are humongous. Check out the Big Mack! It includes two beef patties, special sauce, American cheese, lettuce, pickles, and onion on a triple sesame seed bun.
The basic Nosh burger comes with blue cheese, smoked bacon, roast garlic, balsamic sauce, and an over easy egg. You can get it as a double, triple, or quadruple burger. This is only the double burger, so you can imagine how big or triple or double would be!

I've been to the Pine Tree State many times, and there's one thing I'll never leave without - a traditional lobster dinner. One of the best has to be Cook's Lobster and Ale House, an old-school seafood joint that looks like it's built into an old lobster pound. You'll find this hidden gem on Bailey Island, which is well off the coast. However, this island restaurant in Maine is well worth the visit. Not only will you get some amazing food here, but you'll be in one of the most beautiful spots in the northeast.
A day on Bailey Island is an incredible adventure, bringing you up to the Atlantic off the coast of Maine. You'll find incredible hikes, beautiful vistas, and one of the most peaceful beaches in the state. And after a day of hiking, you'll have worked up an appetite.
Cook's Lobster and Ale House has been an institution on Bailey Island for more than 60 years. This laid-back but classy seafood joint is one of the best spots in the state for a seafood dinner, and during the offseason, the crowds are usually pretty light.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. Why I Love It: Fact: Airplanes are notoriously dry, dry, dry. No matter how much water I drink both before and during the flight, I always find myself in a hydration deficit for days.
