If you're a Mainer you know Dysart's. A staple of hearty eating, there's not a lot this place doesn't do well. But, we can't help but give special attention to their fries. They come from a farm in Belfast and the curly ones are out of this world. Not into spiral life? Don't worry, they come in the traditional straight shape as well. You love the for their burgers and pizza, but feel free to stop by JUST for the fries. The regular order comes in a cone, but we love the poutine which comes drenched in the perfect amount of Pineland Farm cheddar cheese curds. There's no better place to get fries than in The County! This local favorite has great comfort food, but their fries are what we really love. There's nothing overtly unique or special about them, aside from how good they are. French Fry purists will be in heaven. And, you can upgrade to a poutine if you're feeling fancy. Maine has a fantastic dining scene, with most of it crowded into top cities like Portland, Augusta, and Bangor. I've been to the Pine Tree State many times, and there's one thing I'll never leave without - a traditional lobster dinner. Lobster might as well be the official food of Maine, and there are plenty of spots across the state to get a great one. One of the best has to be Cook's Lobster and Ale House, an old-school seafood joint that looks like it's built into an old lobster pound. You'll find this hidden gem on Bailey Island, which is well off the coast. However, this island restaurant in Maine is well worth the visit. Not only will you get some amazing food here, but you'll be in one of the most beautiful spots in the northeast.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L.
