Auntie M's is another of the most family places we could find. With a broad menu - including tons of breakfast items. The banana bread french toast gets rave reviews and the views of Moosehead Lake aren't too shabby either!
Despite having "breakfast" in its name, we still consider this a great spot for brunch. Their homemade baked goods and killer lobster benedict make it worth the very long lines you'll encounter during the season.
Big whoopie pies, generous portions, small prices...we could go on and on. Big G's has the most comforting food and the prices are perfection. Baked goods are made in-house. When you go, make sure half the people want lunch and half want breakfast. You'll want to be able to try everything!
An quirky places has one of the best brunchs in Portland. Whether you go with sweet or savory, breakfast or lunch, you'll be planning your next visit. The Satanic Eggs are the stuff that deviled egg dreams are made of. And, the fillings change daily!
This Camden mainstay is located in an old pharmacy and the decor includes throwbacks to its former life. The coffee is strong and they've perfected just about everything on the menu. Local 188 is one of our favorite brunch spots in Portland. It's also the kind of place where you can show up for brunch, spend your entire day there and finish the night with cocktails. Somehow they've managed to perfect a vibe that makes sense at any time of day. The brunch includes all the usual suspect - from benedicts to pastries to things with mexican flair. It's a bit loud (lots of room!) and you may have to wait, but give it a shot. If you can't make it for lunch, grab cocktails in the evening. Actual review of their pastries: "Worth getting fat for."
This popular spot in Yarmouth requires a bit of pre-planning. Mostly because you'll want to come hungry, but also because you may have to wait a bit. Available on Sundays only, their brunch is marked by great drinks and tons of options.
Bluebird is a family establishment, through and through. Friendly and efficient staff serve up one of the best meals you'll have in Washington County. Brunch is served on Sunday and we highly recommend having anything with blueberries in the name.

9. Crissy's Breakfast and Coffee Bar, Damariscotta
Chrissy's is known for friendly staff and comforting vibes. Their croissants are gigantic and perfectly baked. There's a steady breakfast menu, along with an all-day everything else menu. So, while they may not call it brunch officially, you're free to choose the direction you'd like to take with your first meal of the day. Try the rice breakfast bowls - amazing!
This Bangor stop has will keep you full from breakfast to well after dinner. With menus that include every meal, you don't really need to go anywhere else. But, they shine with brunch. Try the breakfast pizza, burrito or the pastrami salmon benedict and you'll be glad you did!

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L.
