Let's be honest. When you were a kid, licking the bowl was half the fun of making cookies or baking a cake. You probably fought with your siblings over who got the spoon or beaters, and if there were two beaters, a high level of scrutiny went into deciphering which beater had more batter on it. We all know that eating raw cookie dough isn't the safest of ideas, but there's one sweet shop that recently opened in New Orleans that's made cookie dough safe to eat. Hooray! This cookie dough shop in New Orleans will satisfy anyone's sweet tooth, and the best part is that you won't have to fight with your siblings over the beaters! Let's check it out.
Cookie Dough lovers will rejoice with a visit to Cookie Dough Bliss, one of the newest sweet shops to open in New Orleans.
Located in Lakeview, this locally owned and operated shop is the first Louisiana location of the North Carolina-based cookie dough shop.

All of their cookie dough is completely safe to eat, so you don’t have to worry about anything other than what flavor you’re picking.

This whimsical little shop runs just like an ice cream shop. You choose your scoops, toppings, and if you prefer a cup or a cone.
Mix it up with a cookie dough pie, sandwich, or a bliss brownie (pictured below). A chocolate lover’s paradise, the Bliss Brownie has a brownie bottom that’s layered with cookie dough and then topped with a delicious chocolate ganache. Yum!
