Colder temperatures mean Louisianians all across the state are reaching for their gumbo pots and filling their houses with that beautiful aroma that's so perfectly Louisianian. Unfortunately, you don't always have the time to make a pot of gumbo from scratch (especially if your recipe calls for a dark roux), but that shouldn't stop you from indulging in Louisiana's most iconic dish. Luckily, there's one little eatery way down in Lafourche Parish that's home to some of the best gumbo in Louisiana.
Deep in the heart of Bayou Country sits a rather unassuming little building in Cut Off, Louisiana.
