7. Spire Rooftop Café at Hyatt Regency on 320 W Jefferson Street in Louisville
This venue caters to larger crowds, such as weddings and receptions, but also has a café for visitors. The view is a panoramic of Louisville, the Ohio River and southern Indiana. The food southern fare, but of a quality one would expect.

This rotating restaurant closes seasonally but reopens on March 30th to welcome in spring with style. The food and atmosphere are well worth waiting for. The Prime Rib, mashed potatoes and green beans are absolutely delicious, and their Aus Jus sauce is renowned.
5. Hilton Garden Inn at 350 W Chestnut in Louisville
This sleek hotel has a high end rooftop restaurant that serves both breakfast and dinner. Expect a sheek environment and a perfectly prepared meal under the stars if visiting here. The prices fit the establishment, but you won’t be disappointed.
4. Ice House on 226 E Washington Street in Louisville
This is a unique event and catering facility that hosts wedding celebrations and receptions, city events, parties and holiday events. Tickets are usually on sale for some of the unique attractions, such as wine or bourbon tasting. As the Derby gets closer, the Ice House will get busier, but everything created within those walls is served with perfection. During spring and summer, many events are hosted outside to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, but the catering goes anywhere.
3. Skybar, Penthouse Level at 269 W Main Street in Lexington
This is a swanky lounge that provides a piano player to entertain diners in the high class way one would expect from a penthouse. This is not a place to wear daisy dukes or ragged jeans, but is a far more chic type of environment with an incredible view, food and drinks.

This funky bar and eatery has an eclectic atmosphere and friendly service. They offer a variety of music varying from dueling banjos at breakfast to open mics with local entertainment at night. The food is more pub style but is a very good example of that type of cuisine, especially the Monkey Burger, as shown. Have a drink and some food with friends under the stars here is well worth the trip.
